No No No
No No No
One of the paradoxes of this world, is we are all busy, yet somehow we are all lonely. We don’t have enough time for relationships, but we have time for activities. Our days and weekends are over-scheduled, and often we fall into bed exhausted.
Not me though. One of the different experiences for me in this current phase of chronic illness is that I say no, a lot.
Dear friend’s cheese birthday party? No
Christmas in July at the Cathedral? No
Movie on the good and bad in Christianity? No
Thursday work choir? No
Bible study No
Vice-Chancellor’s update? No

My life is no no no.
I miss the yes, but at least I’m consistent.
