My saddest memory...
Hmmm, trying to think of what I could say. I don't really associate with "saddest memory" so I'll share when I was most scared and when I was most depressed...
I was most scared: It would have been 1981, 1982, somewhere around there.
My parents were fighting.
We had a phone on the wall - it was up high. Although I was a tall child I couldn't reach it without the stool.
I grabbed the stool to call the police.
My Dad's face was bleeding from being hit by my Mum somehow.
I was really scared. My Dad didn't want me to call the police. I wanted to get on the stool and call the police.
A child shouldn't be so scared by their parents fighting that they call the police. I was 7? 8?

Most depressed. I'd been trying to finish uni. I was so hopeless. I felt hopeless. I felt like life was over. I couldn't see how I would work in chemistry. I didn't like chemistry. I didn't want to finish uni. I just wanted to die.
So I tried. I took pills. I drank alcohol to help (I don't really like alcohol). I went to sleep. I woke up vomiting.
I spent all day in casualty. Vomiting. I think I vomited over 20 times. By myself. In casualty.
That was a bad 24 hours.
I am glad you survived those awful things and I got to know you!
