Well, there's two versions really. There's work and there's outside work. Work really is more of a yearly cycle, so let's start with that.
The year really starts in September. I know you're shocked, but September is when I ask the leaders who's coming back for the following year.
Based on that I invite students to apply.
I read the applications and set up interviewing for October.
November is all about preparing for the end of the year thank you event, usually late November, early December, as well as getting feedback from the students attending and forwarding to the leaders.
December is about doing those jobs that sit there during semester not getting done. Updating the website. Fixing the filing system. Stuff. Just jobs.
January - usually the first half is holidays!
Second half and February is all about preparation - preparing for the semester, scheduling, late minute recruiting, all the million set up things that need to happen. And training. Usually 2 x 2 new leader training days, 2 x senior leader trainings, and any other assorted workshops that I run (things like mentoring, orientation workshops, etc).
March - chaos. Finalising all the HR issues, lots of initial questions, setting up the power points, the schedule, cancelling classes, adding classes. March is busy.
April - usually pretty busy too because I try to take a few days around Easter. Also - finding out what leaders are coming back and starting recruiting.
May is another recruitment month. Lots of interviews, lots of decisions.
June is another "usually take it slow" month. But not this June. My life has been frantic trying to write a big report that if it wins will be HUGE. We shall see.
July is another February. Training, preparation, all the systems, HR etc. Busy.
August is another March. Start of semester. Busy, busy, busy.
And we're back to September. So insert that into the typical week.

A typical week:
Monday - work and pilates physio after work. There is bible study at lunch time. It is basically go go go until I get home (usually about 7.30pm).
Tuesday - work, weight watchers at lunch, after work I go home (late because Tuesday night during semester I have to man the desk until 6pm) and then do #Jillian. Lately it's been by myself and at home, although often I go to meet a friend (it's better with a friend). If I do it at home, I try to play a lecture or TV show at the same time to distract myself because it is boring, boring, boring...
Wednesday - usually after Sunday, Monday and Tuesday exercise, today I am sore.
Work, and bible study. Though I've been too tired to go the last 2 weeks. Slack I know. But it's hard to keep going and going when I don't know people at bible study well (which is not making it better by not going but oh well).
Thursday - one of my favourite days! Work meeting, where everyone gets together (which is nice because most of the people work part-time), choir at lunch, and then choir after work too! My out of hours choir - we've learnt LOTS of songs since I started - at the moment we are learning Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) and we just started learning Every Breath You Take and Summertime. I'm hoping to be one of the soloists in Summertime.
Friday - work all day. Usually a day to have lunch with @cafedave (or Wed) if he's free or someone else. Friday night - gym if I don't have anything else on, or whatever I have on. Like Dessert Club was last Friday night. Or visiting my Mum and sister the Friday before. Or visiting my sister in hospital the Friday before. Or the Alchemy gig the Friday before that. Actually, I haven't been to the gym on Friday night in a while!
Saturday - usually my house is a disaster. It needs tidying, vacuuming, mopping, washing, washing up. All those jobs that aren't done during the week (if I can, I run washing during the week but then that needs putting away). And I listen to my lecture for my study, then buckle down to some study, or go to something. I try to keep Saturday night study free - either sit and watch TV or go out. This Saturday night I went to Mums to help with her computer, last Saturday night I went to Virginias for card making.
Sunday - this is another study day. Also church. Also swimming. I'm trying to do 200k in 2014. I have 87k to go.
