A perfect day

To wake up and play with the ferrets. To go out and go for a swim and then meet a friend for a brunch in a cafe.
To get outdoors and see the sun and the sea and the air.
To have a wonderful dinner with friends.
To play games after dinner.

Recently it was probably a combination of the time I spent on the boat diving with the whales and spending the afternoon with JG on the central coast.

The mental health outcomes for people with chronic fatigue are worse than many other major illnesses. I think this is because of a range of factors, including isolation, loneliness, lack of hope, and no real treatment options. That's why, I think, I burst into tears today. Our church has always had a weekend away, a weekend where we would get together, eat (sometimes sub-optimal) food, fellowship, listen to talks, chat, swim, play, etc.  But next year it's not happening.
